We&#8217;ll be trying this Asian inspired Sea Bass with Sizzled Ginger, Chilli, and Spring Onions recipe from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/recipes\/sea-bass-sizzled-ginger-chilli-spring-onions\" target=\"_blank\">BBC Good Food<\/a>!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sea bass with sizzled ginger, chilli &amp; spring onions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong> 15 mins <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cook:<\/strong> 10 mins <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serves 6<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>6 x sea bass fillets, about 140g\/5oz each, skin on and scaled<\/li><li>about 3 tbsp sunflower oil<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/glossary\/sunflower-oil\"><\/a><\/li><li>large knob of ginger<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/glossary\/ginger\"><\/a> , peeled and shredded into matchsticks<\/li><li>3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced<\/li><li>3 fat, fresh red chillies deseeded and thinly shredded<\/li><li>bunch spring onion<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/glossary\/spring-onion\"><\/a> , shredded long-ways<\/li><li>1 tbsp soy sauce<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Season 6 sea bass fillets with salt and pepper, then slash the skin 3 times.<\/li><li>Heat a heavy-based frying pan and add 1 tbsp sunflower oil.<\/li><li>Once hot, fry the sea bass fillets, skin-side down, for 5 mins or until the skin is very crisp and golden. The fish will be almost cooked through.<\/li><li>Turn over, cook for another 30 seconds &#8211; 1 minute, then transfer to a serving plate and keep warm. You\u2019ll need to fry the sea bass fillets in 2 batches.<\/li><li>Heat 2 tbsp sunflower oil, then fry the large knob of peeled ginger, cut into matchsticks, 3 thinly sliced garlic cloves and 3 thinly shredded red chillies for about 2 mins until golden.<\/li><li>Take off the heat and toss in the bunch of shredded spring onions.
